Photo specifications
SSC requires a passport-size photograph (3.5 × 4.5 cm) with a plain white background. The file must be a JPEG under 50 KB. Recent photograph not older than 3 months.
Signature specifications
Sign on white paper with a black ball-point pen. Scan or photograph, crop to the signature only. File must be JPEG under 20 KB, dimensions 3.5 × 1.5 cm.
Common rejections
Scanned copies of printed photos, photos with spectacles, photos with coloured backgrounds, photos older than 3 months, and files above the size limit are all rejected.
Step-by-step
Photograph yourself against a white wall in good lighting. Upload to Picly → Tools → Photo Resizer → SSC preset. Compress to under 50 KB. Download as JPEG. Upload to the SSC portal.
